Connect Programs

As we all know, from ten Jews you can get twenty opinions.

It’s true, great ideas might be born in a garage (or on a white board), but to thrive in the world they need exposure to a diversity of perspectives. And nowhere is there more diversity of voices to be found than in the Bay Area, filled with a wide array of business leaders, philanthropists, social entrepreneurs and everyday innovators who have so much to share…and so much to learn from one another.

Our Connect programs bring these individuals together with a range of topic experts to network, explore and imagine new possibilities in Jewish life. Every month, UpStart Bay Area hosts seminars, workshops and public lectures on topics that will inspire you, inform you, and galvanize your effectiveness. Past programs have included: Lean Start Up with Eric Reis, Twitter for the Mishpacha with Sarah Milstein, and Bringing Nonprofits to Scale with William Foster.

And they just keep getting better.

We also host a drop-in innovation center, where social entrepreneurs can work together and share ideas as well as connect with the UpStart team.  Or you can join us virtually through our blogs, tweets, videos, and webinars.  And if you don’t see what you’re looking for, let us know what that is…the network always knows best.

Get Connected! Have a look at our calendar of upcoming events, then come join us – to learn and to teach.
