Featuring Dr. Lewis Bernstein
Executive Vice President of Education and Research at Sesame Workshop

Register for 40 Years of Sesame Street: Change & Evolution in Nonprofit Institutions in San Francisco, CA on Eventbrite

In its 40-year history, Sesame Workshop has been forced to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing media marketplace.  As preschool children have become bombarded with increasing levels and varieties of technology and entertainment, Sesame has strived to continue to stand out amongst an otherwise cluttered environment.

Dr. Lewis Bernstein has been at Sesame Workshop for over 30 years in a variety of different roles. He will discuss the process and content of change initiatives he has led at Sesame Workshop, and will share the lessons he has learned about how organizations can best adapt and evolve. His talk will take us behind the scenes to explore how by staying true to its mission – using the educational power of media to help all children reach their highest potential – Sesame Workshop has remained current, relevant, and beloved in the minds of children, their parents and teachers, and the culture at large.

Join us for the inaugural event of UpStart’s Process of Innovation Series, and, as always, enjoy a chance to mix, mingle, schmooze, and connect with other members of the UpStart community.
