Shift Happens - Jewish Learning with Maya Bernstein and UpStarter Kevah
This four part series will explore what Judaism has to teach us about navigating difficult transitions. Looking at four major shifts in the Jewish tradition - the expulsion from the Garden of Eden, the transition from Prophets to Kings, the destruction of the second temple, and the establishment of a modern Jewish state - we will explore various Jewish approaches to surviving, and even thriving during times of change. The ideas will also be contextualized in participants' own lives and in the challenges Jewish professionals face today.
DATES: May 4, 18, June 1, and 14
TIME: 12pm - 1:30pm (Brown Bag lunch - bring your own)
COST: $110 for the series
